Safe Machine Adjustments: Another key Safe-T-Bleed® feature is safe machine adjustment. In certain situations it may be necessary to manually move a mechanism that is operated with a hydraulic actuator to make adjustments, dislodge jammed loads, etc.
Safe-T-Bleed® is designed to facilitate actuator movement while the machine is locked out. This feature keeps personnel out of harms way and eliminates the potential for lockout accidents.
Current machine adjustment practices and associated hazards - A jammed load can present a serious safety hazard because an actuator cannot be manually moved due to the fact that the oil cannot be displaced across a closed valve. This puts personnel at risk when entering dangerous "pinch-points" to dislodge the material.
All Safe-T-Bleed® components can be connected under pressure.

Safe-T-Bleed® allows actuators to be moved manually with the machine locked out. (Safe-T-Bleed® connections shown in yellow - all components included in kit)
