Featured Benefits

Safely Air-Bleed:
Safe-T-Bleed® offers yet another advantage of making Safe-T-Bleed® an integral part of your hydraulic system design -
Install Safe-T-Bleed®, and never bleed or purge oil to atmosphere again!

Safe-T-Bleed®'s unique closed-loop AirBleed™ system allows you to bleed air out of cylinders, pumps, etc., safely and effectively, without ever having to open the system to atmosphere.

Current air bleed practices and associated hazards -
The current, industry-wide method of bleeding air, after installing new components, during new machine startup, or after installing new transmission lines, is to simply leave connectors loose and allow air and oil to discharge to atmosphere until the liquid is clear of air bubbles.

This practice exposes personnel to the potential for burn and injection injuries. It is also a fire hazard; creates an environment for slip injuries; and contributes to the thousands of gallons of oil that are wasted each year. This results in immeasurable environmental damage and financial losses.

Using Safe-T-Bleed®'s closed-loop AirBleed™ feature to remove air from a hydraulic system -
The following illustration shows how Safe-T-Bleed®'s AirBleed™ assembly is used to safely air-bleed a hydraulic cylinder. The AirBleed™ assembly can be connected under pressure.

. . . without Safe-T-Bleed®, trapped air is purged to atmosphere with the oil. . . . with Safe-T-Bleed®, trapped air is pushed out of the circuit.

  1. Prevents skin penetration injury, burn, or eye injury - oil is never discharged to atmosphere.
  2. Keeps machines and equipment free of oil - eliminates the conditions for slip-type accidents.
  3. Environmentally friendly - keeping oil inside the system eliminates waste and keeps the environment clean.
