About Safe-T-Bleed®

Safe-T-Bleed® is a unique safety system developed specifically for hydraulic systems.

Safe-T-Bleed®
was designed after our hydraulic engineering team conducted an exhaustive study on current start-up, design, repair, and operational practices in the hydraulic industry.

The first major problem our team discovered was that less than 1% of hydraulic systems comply with OSHA's standard for lockout and tagout with respect to de-energization and verification - this is a serious problem!

We also discovered that the majority of component air-bleeding, especially hydraulic cylinders, is conducted by exhausting pressurized oil to atmosphere.

And finally, in the majority of cases, connectors have to be loosened to install test pressure gauges when conducting routine pressure checks.

Each of these situations leave people vulnerable to a number of extremely serious safety hazards:

1.
Exhausting high pressure oil to atmosphere can cause a skin penetration injury which could lead to debilitating health problems, or death. It could also lead to serious eye injury or blindness.
2.
When hot oil comes into contact with skin it can cause serious or even fatal burn injuries.

When Safe-T-Bleed® is installed in a hydraulic system these hazardous conditions are eliminated. Safe-T-Bleed® is simple to install, relatively inexpensive, and extremely easy to use.

It is only a matter of time before
Safe-T-Bleed® finds its way into every hydraulic system, because of its impressive safety features and environmental protection features.

Safety and environmental protection must be the nucleus of hydraulic system design, and there is no single component that can make as profound an improvement in the safety of people and the protection of the environment as
Safe-T-Bleed®.
